Personally, I dont like mosh pits at my shows. Ive stopped a couple before. I dont think most pits are inherently bad, and in fact many metal and hardcore fans are actually good enough at it that it can be fairly safe. However, I think thats exactly where they belong. You go to a hardcore show, you know what youre getting into. Starting a pit at an electronic music event could easily be considered encroaching on people that arent there to get bruised and bloody. Also, Im kinda tired of hearing a million remixes of that one song about it.
