The academic conference in the Brahan Building, Crieff Road Campus will include presentations on recruitment of territorial forces during WW1 and the Jewish community in Dundee during the period. Lars Cook, Perth College UHI History lecturer said: “I’m looking forward to bringing such well-respected authorities on the subject to Perth College UHI, and establishing links and expertise across universities. Our students and everyone who attends the conference will enjoy a range of topics from a number of speakers all relating to Scotland’s part in the First World War and the effect of the war on the nation.
