Pervaiz pays tribute to Fakhuruddin G Ebrahim ISLAMABAD, Aug 1 (APP): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid has paid tribute to Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan (ECP), Fakhuruddin G Ebrahim for performing his constitutional duty of free, fair and transparent election in the country. The ECP had played active role as compared to past, he added. Talking to a private TV channel, Pervaiz said that government had completed homework on security policy, saying that PML-N wanted to take all political parties on board on the issue. The government was committed for eradicating terrorism in the country, hesaid. He said that the meeting of all parties conference (APC) was delayed dueto the absence of PTI chairman Imran Khan. He urged collective efforts to ensurepeace across the country. To a question, he said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) hadrespected the mandate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa andKPK Chief Minister, Pervaiz Khatak was an honorable person. He stressed the need of a stable society for the development of country.
