Peter Green Believe it or not, there was a Fleetwood Mac before Stevie Nicks. They actually formed in 1967 in London when lead guitarist Peter Green talked Mick Fleetwood and John McVie into leaving John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers and starting a new band. Stevie and her boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham didnt join the band until 1974. This is the original version of Black Magic Woman, written by Peter Green with Fleetwood Mac; and made famous by Santana.
