Peter didnt sink because He didnt believe in Christ beloved, Peter sunk because He relied on self to get to where Christ was. Sometimes, when our plans, hopes or expectations are sinking, God is trying to tell us to, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember, Christ reached out to save Peter but Peter had to reach back in order to be saved. Reach Back beloved, and grab hold of the wisdom of God and He will direct your path.
