Thanks for your support! / Friends of The Royal Swedish Navy Band History Early September, the Royal Swedish Navy Band received the news that there was a cost-cutting proposal to terminate 38 full time positions. As a result the band would no longer exist. In 2013 the The Navy Band performed and appeared close to 130 times around the entire country of Sweden from Ystad in the south to Luleå in the north helping the armed forces strengthening its brand.
