Phil, I lamented the demise of techno as it went from underground to bunker toilet in well, the last fifteen years or so... ....so I racked my brain for a DJ who could deliver a top ten techno list of 2013. One light was shining on the burning bridge of EDM: that name is Dave Clarke. This is his boil down of *A YEAR* of DJing: just TEN tracks. It really is getting hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. Half these tunes are actually *electro* and to be honest, the techno tracks are boring. Here it is, courtesy of RTE (Irish National Radio): Of ALL the places. Heheh, who needs Beatport?!
