Phil and I just got home form Bham. He had an appointment with Dr. Cordova at Andrews Sports Clinic. We also went to the Apple Store and had dinner. I want to thank you all for your many prayers concerning Phil. Hes had a long journey with this neck issue. What is boils down to is living with occasional pain and damage to his shoulder and right arm or undergo another surgery to correct a bulging disc above the area of his first surgery. The doctor tried a steroid shot which by the way I cried all the way through and prayed out loud! That needle looked like something theyd give a horse! So, we have got a lot of praying to do and a lot of areas that we have to check out before any decisions are made. Dr. Cordova specializes in failed back and neck surgeries. Not to say Phils was a failure, but for some reason, it caused additional problems. My feeling is that he shouldnt have to live in pain and damage if he can help it. Nothing is going to happen anytime soon. Dr. C. said we can schedule it anytime, when we are ready. I had a lot of questions and probably drove that man crazy. He kinda said his goodbyes and let his assistant deal with me:) Thats okay as long as someone answers my questions. Please continue to pray for Phil and the decisions he will have to make concerning his health in the next few weeks and months. God is good:) Love you all.........
