Philly- my friend Ellen needs help- she is an amazing person-100% ethical and reliable. She is always helping others and now she needs help! She needs food for her 30 colony cats! Ellen Tarasca 57 minutes ago via mobile I always have a difficult time asking for help, however short of trapping my colony cats and new cats that have shown up and bringing them to ACCT I am begging for help. I am feeding over 30 cats, Im not a non profit, I dont get any help and am experiencing tension with neighbors. This is a financial burden for me, originally I was asked to feed temporarily until feeders could be found then everything was left on me. In Nov. I was injured at work and just found out I will not be cleared for another 6-8 wks. I have my own pets am a single mom, have no other income and have a mortgage plus bills. I am now going to workmans comp which usually takes over a month to kick in. Im not quite sure how Im going to pay my own bills but im asking for help with these cats. People have said just stop feeding them, these cats have always been feed. One colony of 6 is in my yard, several have had leg injuries, two, when taken to PAWS were pts and I was told by the vet the injuries looked suspicious. If asked Ive always helped anyone, now Im begging for help. I certainly will repay with time, volunteering, whatever...thanks!
