I attended a public meeting in Buckhaven on Wednesday (26th March) to debate the possibility of the passenger rail service being re-introduced to Leven / Methil. This has been campaigned for in the past, and in 2008 it might just have become reality following a feasibility study that concluded that it was a viable proposition. Unfortunately, there then ensued a banking crisis / recession, which knocked the whole thing on the head.
