After a few large and long hills, riding in the heat on the concrete, two large kms days, back to back it was starting to tell. The messages of support coming through here were read out over the UHF, the venturers were the cheer squad on the side of the road at every opportunity. Hayden dug deep for the last 36kms and smashed them out, going 55kms p/h along the flat, climbing at an average of 30kms p/h and smashing it out down the other side. Made into Yass with a grin a mile wide. Short hop into Canberra today, just a lazy 60kms. Leaving Yass around 9am to beat the heat. Scheduled to arrive at Parliament House at 3:45pm in the forecourt.
