Physical Therapy is going fantastic. Last visit we did a re-analysis of the strength in my back. I went from having 57.3% below average muscle efficiency, (That is TERRIBLE), to a 28% below average. Baseline for a person with my parameters and no history of back issues at all is a steady 0%. One standard deviation is 25% +/-. As You can tell, I am just about there at the one standard deviation, below that is. It has taken just short of 3 months of twice a week therapy to undo 17 years of pain. Still some ways to go. Almost completely eliminated all pain killers from my weekly intake. No more Percocet, just the occasional Ibuprofen. Next visit will determine if I am able to go at it myself and stay at this level without assistance. This is great news. Just in time for kayaking season!
