Pi Overgaard Christiansen Warning: 18+, extremely graphic and harrowing images, further evidence of Assad regime crimes against humanity Jisreen, #Damascus province: This tiny emaciated baby, seven-month-old Mohamad Faissal Kabouch, died yesterday (Tuesday January 21st, 2014) in Jisreen of starvation and lack of basic medical facilities due to regime siege (which is coupled with daily regime bombardment). This is not a famine due to lack of available food, but the very deliberate planned starvation of millions of men, women and children, including infants like Mohamad Faissal Kabouch who are least able to physically tolerate the effects of chronic malnutrition. Those who remain neutral are as complicit in this babys death and the deaths of countless others from starvation as the regime troops inflicting the siege and using hunger as a tool of war, in Jisreen, in Yarmouk camp and the rest of south Damascus, in Moadamiyeh, in Homs and across Syria.
