Picked up my son after a long day at school and the tutoring after. He got into the car, and buried his head in my lap and just sobbed. Said he had the worst day ever. Then, his teacher came walking up to my car looking like the wicked witch of the west. She said that he got pink slipped today because he brought a tennis ball to school. (Apparently tennis balls are a no go...but basketballs and soccer balls...baseballs...and every other effing ball is allowed)... but to make it even worse...when she took it from him she told him he is never getting it back. So after school as everyone lined up outside he went to his teachers desk and took it back. :( makes me sad. He asked me this morning if he could bring it to school. I said yes but promise me you will bring it back. Needless to say...I am NOT punishing him for this bullshit. However I did tell him never to go through his teachers desk again. Urghhhhh!
