Pierce Update: After re-running tests, his kidneys are not functioning any better. The doc says he has 90% kidney failure and the condition irreversible. Pierce will remain in medical quarantine and under the vets care the rest of the week and go to his foster home this weekend. He will receive home care and see how it goes. We may have to take it one day at a time. He will be on a special diet and possibly some fluids administered at home. He is starting to eat, has gained a couple pounds and even went for a walk with his foster dad. We are very thankful for his foster who will make him as comfortable as possible.
