Piglet update: About 10 days ago, Piglet got her R stifle-tarsus orthotic device to help stabilize her joint because she tore her cruciate several months back. Since then, she and her folks have been working very hard on her homework exercises and she came in for a rehabilitation therapy session today. She was really doing great overall and we had to think up new things to challenge her already. Cavalettis and basic ramps were pretty easy for her, so Lisa had to kick it up a couple notches today. So, add a some FitBones for a wobbly effect, a balance board, an angled cavaletti and then going up the ramp in reverse and Piglet showed us her star power today. She did take a step off the ramp when in reverse, but recovered really well and even stepped up high with her orthotic device limb to finish her maneuver! Go, Piggie, go!
