Pike County supervisors are in a peculiar situation. They’ve signed a confidentiality agreement with an industry that is considering locating here, so they can’t discuss it publicly. Yet they and other agencies are seeking public comments on that same industry. Pike BioEnergy LLC, owned by the same company that’s building Amite BioEnergy pellet mill in Gloster, plans to put a plant on Jesse Hall Road in Magnolia, according to a public notice by the Mississippi Environmental Quality Permit Board.
