Pilot Music Program on WRMI WRMIs Rock Radio Revival program will take a one-week hiatus August 17-23 so RRR producer Bruce Baskin can audition a potential new show for Radio Miami International. Americas Number One will debut at 9:30PM Eastern Time Sunday, August 17 (0130 UTC August 18), bringing the most popular songs in the USA to a global audience. The program will air one time only for now and feature top-rated songs on a number of Billboard Magazines weekly music charts, including R&B, Latin, Country, Rock and Pop rankings. One of the best ways we can export American culture is through shortwave radio, Baskin says. Not all images people have of the USA outside the country are positive, but music is something that historically has crossed borders fairly easily: Its not about politics or other contemporary issues...Its about what people like to listen to. Thats something folks everywhere share an interest in. Rock Radio Revival will return on Sunday, August 24.
