Pima Community College (PCC) is now offering Mental Health First - TopicsExpress

Pima Community College (PCC) is now offering Mental Health First Aid! CPSA is proud to be a sponsor of this program by providing free training materials. PCC’s course will help break down the stigma of mental illness that prevents many from seeking treatment. CPSA strongly supports Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and offers a free MHFA training that will benefit any group. Participants learn to recognize the signs of a mental health or substance-use crisis, and how to provide initial assistance until appropriate professional, peer or family support can be engaged. You can read more about the class at PCC on the Tucson News Now web site: tucsonnewsnow/story/24512163/pcc-offers-mental-health-first-aid-program.
