Pine Creek Records and Benjamin Webi are proud to be releasing Webi’s single PAMOJA MILELE. Staying true to creating music standards in Kenya and beyond, Pine Creek Records is determined to paint a canvas of musical excellence, and this includes releasing a song every three months from its artists. I describe this as “the epitome of sheer music industry brilliance, where a label is interested in the artist and artistry.” Pamoja Milele is written and performed by Benjamin Webi (WEBI) in the Swahili & Taita languages. This song expresses the thoughts of a man who has found the love of his life and wants nothing short of a life together with her. The lyrics can be turned around to be expressed from a lady to the man she loves. The song was inspired by Webi’s own love story. He wanted it to be a musical love letter that people out there relate to and can use to describe their own love stories. The song is arranged by Webi and Rkay and produced by Rkay, who also shot the video. Webi is a soulful singer, songwriter and guitarist. Born and raised in a musical family, Webi picked up playing the guitar and singing at an early age and has continued to do so until present date. Having started a professional career in music as an artist in 2003, Webi has recorded two studio albums Outside my Window (2005) and All I Can Say (2009), and some recent singles: Gonna Be Alright (2013), The Love Stand and Pamoja Milele (2014). Consequently, he is a 3 time One Gospel Awards winner (2008) & a multiple Groove Awards nominee (2009). Webi is currently signed to Pine Creek Records and is working on his third studio album.
