Pineapple Pork & Sugar Peas Theres basic rules to follow when making Chinese style dishes like this one. Stuff like orange chicken, pineapple chicken, cashew chicken, lemon chicken, cherry pork, orange pork.....etc. I think you all get the idea. This recipe was more of a side dish so I used only two thick center cut boneless pork chops, trimmed of fat and cut into cubes. It has to be made in small batches otherwise it wont turn out right. Other ingredients I used were..... For the Meat: ·Garlic e.v.o.o. · 5 tbsp. Flour · 2 1/2 tbsp. Cornstarch · Cracked black pepper to taste ·About 1/4 tsp. Salt ·About a 1/2 tsp of garlic powder For the Sauce: ·Garlic e.v.o.o. · 1 cup pineapple orange juice ( I used Dole®) · Half of a fresh pineapple ·Large handful of sugar snap peas,de-stringed ·1/4 cup garlic wine vinegar ·3 large cloves fresh garlic, sliced thin ·Sprinkle of sesame seeds ·Cornstarch **Recommended Equipment You will need a wooden spoon, some tongs and a large shiny stainless steel skillet. If you are a dedicated cook and you dont already have a stainless steel pots & pans set, you should invest in one. All of your food will come out better and they clean up easy with a short soak and distilled vinegar. However, I dont recommend cooking meat patties in them. >>>>>Recipe Directions
