Piney Orchard Parkway remains closed from Waugh Chapel Road to Strawberry Lake Way because of a water main break that occurred this morning. This closure will cause bus delays for Piney Orchard Elementary School, Arundel Middle School, and Arundel High School students who live in the area, and parents should expect that students may arrive at their bus stops later than normal. Buses will attempt to make all stops, but in cases where they are not able to do so, students will be let off the bus at the closest possible safe location. Parents of students who live in the affected area and wish to make other arrangements for their child this afternoon should contact their child’s school to make those arrangements.
