Ping Lacson may be some things to some people, but like Joker, he opted for the non-use of his pork barrel. For that alone, I have nothing but respect and admiration for this man. I may have doubted his innocence when he became a fugitive, but I think Lacson would not be involved in any activity that would mar his reputation. Speculation has it that Lacson would become the President’s anti-crime and anti-smuggling czar. I believe that if there is anybody in public service who can deliver the goods, that would be Ping Lacson.
