Pink slime has never been used in McDonalds beef patties in the UK and Ireland which source their meat from farmers within the two countries. U.S. companies do NOT need to or have to use these ingredient. They use them because we allow/allowed it. This is huge progress! I still do NOT recommend eating any beef that is not grass fed/grass finished, nonGMO, but this is to still a step in the right direction. We vote with where we spend our money. When we support our local, organic farms, then more safe, organic, nonGMO food will be available. We can either spend our money on the highest quality food now or spend it on sickcare later. The food we eat is either preventing disease or contributing to disease. Lets choose wisely! #YouAreWorthIt
