Pioneers Press is a small, family-run publisher in Kansas started by former employees of Microcosm Publishing, who left for a very long list of reasons primarily tied to owner Joe Biels history of abuse. Now Biel and Microcosm are suing to shut them down. Pioneers Press has had to divert all of its money to fending off legal attacks from another radical publisher. It has gotten so bad that their utilities are being turned off, and the farm animals they have rescued need food. There are few people on the planet who have inspired me as much as the good folks at Pioneers Press. I support everything they are doing, and the values they live by. Help keep them open.
