Piracy- has moved The routine takeover of ships in the Gulf of Aden off Somalia is happening less often but still a major enough concern to keep warships in the area. However, the new frontier is off the coast of west Africa. It took some years for the east African nations to come to agreement on prosecution, jurisdiction, armed guards, allowing other nations’ warships in territorial waters, etc. Now the process must start all over again on the other side of the continent.
