Pirate Fans!!! From Doug Key The first full week of 2014 and we survived (still debatable)! Hope everyone is back on schedule, working with the kids & the resolutions set in motion. Your PIRATES have picked up where they left off in 2013. Here is the line-up for the week: Tonight: HS – debate @ Ft. Scott (state tournament) HS – wrestling @ Basehor-Linwood HS – basketball vs. Bishop Ward - 3rd annual Coaches vs. Cancer game (see attached flyer) Saturday: HS – wrestling - V @ Basehor-Linwood - JV @ Bishop Miege HS –debate @ Ft. Scott MS – bbb @ Tonganoxie Sunday: NFL – Conference Championship games (Chiefs are not playing) Monday: USD 203 – No School Tuesday: HS – scholars bowl @ Piper HS – girls basketball vs. Mill Valley (freshman @ 4:15, followed by JV, then V) HS – boys basketball @ Spring Hill - V vs. Osawatomie (8:15) HS – wrestling @ Bishop Ward Wednesday: HS – bowling @ KC Bowl HS – 8th grade enrollment night - all PMS 8th graders & parents should attend - 6-7 pm (activity fair in the commons) followed by presentation in the auditorium Thursday: HS – boys basketball @ Spring Hill (TBA) HS – scholars bowl @ Maranatha MS – basketball vs. Mill Creek (8th home/7th away) Lots of activities to go and see this season, so get up and get out to the games.
