Pismo Beach,California This is the best time of the year to see these wonderful butterflies up until the end of Feb and then they will be gone again. If you get a chance to go see them make sure it is a very sunny day as that is when they are most active. If its cold or shady their wings will be closed and not the best for photos. I have shared this video before, but sure there are some of you out there that hasnt had a chance to see these amazing butterflies that return each year.
