Pit Bull Awareness Week.......Another Pittie. This one with his own facebook page and a loyal following. This is Walter Ready. Walter is a local guy here in the burg. He is livin the good life with his beautiful mom and pack mates. Quite a diverse crew at his house and Walter cuddles and plays and keeps an eye on all of them. (Lots of photos in the album....scroll through) Words from Walters mom: We adopted Walter from a shelter when he was around ten years old and abandoned. Walter has touched our lives and the lives of so many others in ways we meet thought possible. It makes me sad to know that there are so many wonderful dogs like Walter out there in shelters who may never get the chance to make it out simply because of their breed when really, people should be seeking pit bulls out because generally they are fabulous family dogs. Because of Walter, we will ALWAYS own at least one pit bull. Walter can dispel any myth you might have heard about these dogs. Loving, loyal, gentle........A true ambassador for this breed.
