Pit bull bans aka BSL Breed specific legislation does not protect the public and it definitely does NOT protect dogs. The sick humans that would subject an innocent dog to a life on a chain, train a dog to fight, attack, not provide them with love and care-THOSE ppl need to be banned/legislated. And banning pit bulls will not stop those humans that want to exploit, abuse, harm dogs. Those humans would/will/have used rottweilers, dobermans, mastiffs and many other breeds. Meanwhile thousands upon thousands of INNOCENT pit bulls are banned from LOVING families, many are in shelters, many many are euthanized daily. Its a tragedy and a farce (i kinda just stole that line from Peter Riedel re: shady politics and Marineland. but it applies here also) #ENDBSL
