Pitt Hit, Red Carpet Crasher Arrested at #Maleficent Premiere; Angelina Jolie Says Dark Days Are Behind Her An infamous red carpet troublemaker was arrested Wednesday night at the premiere of the #AngelinaJolie film Maleficent, after he allegedly inadvertently struck Jolies partner #BradPitt as he was mingling with fans. Security at the El Capitan Theatre in #LosAngeles quickly grabbed the suspect, who was held until cops arrived to take him away. According to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department obtained by ABC News, an individual jumped over a barricade and approached Brad Pitt while he was walking the #redcarpet, coming into physical contact with the actor. The individual has been taken into custody and was arrested for battery. The man arrested was identified as Vitalii Sediuk, a notorious Ukrainian TV personality who has made a name for himself by targeting celebrities in unwanted red carpet stunts. Just last week, he dove under the dress of America Ferrara at the #CannesFilmFestival. Hes also the same man who tried to crash Adeles Grammy acceptance speech in 2013, was slapped by Will Smith in 2012 after trying to kiss the star at the Moscow premiere of Men In Black 3, Sediuk has made even more intimate unwanted advances to Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper. #Sediuk was behind bars pending payment of $20,000 bail on the misdemeanor charge. Despite the drama from the red carpet crasher, it was business as usual at the premiere of the Disney film, which is a different take on the Sleeping Beauty story that stars Jolie as the titular villainess. The six children she and Pitt are raising were on hand for the event, including 5-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, who has a small part in the movie. On the red carpet, Oscar winner Jolie gushed it was a welcome change to have the family in tow at the event. This is the first time they were able to come to mommys premiere....But they got dressed up and they wanted to. I told them they didnt have to. They picked their own things. They were all very cute. Its so much fun. Its so much fun to not be doing this like its a job, but to be doing it and playing with the family. Jolie said she felt common ground with Maleficent, whose life -- and wicked ways -- are unexpectedly changed by the life of a child. I understood that journey.
