Place2Give creates Emergency Flood Relief Fund Donations can be designated to support the relief fund directly through Place2Give Calgary, Canada – Place2Give has created a Flood Relief Fund to assist in the clean-up efforts and any other flood relief efforts needed. place2give/CalgaryFlood.html The Place2Give Flood Relief Fund will be supporting the following charities: • Calgary Police Foundation • EMS Foundation • Foothills Search and Rescue • Servants Anonymous • Calgary YWCA • Rotary Club of Canmore • Calgary Drop In Centre • Federation of Calgary Communities • Alpha House Donors can designate their donations to a specific charity by clicking on that charities donate button. Donors who choose to let Place2Give designate the donation on an as-needed basis can click the general Place2Give donate button. A credit card processing fee of 3.9% will be applied to all transactions. While we can’t absorb the cost of the credit card processing fees, we are waiving our admin fee in order to ensure that as many of the funds are getting to the charities as possible. Place2Give Fund is managed by the Benefaction Foundation and tax receipts will be issued directly upon donation. Thank you to the organizations who are helping out with this initiative and supporting those organizations who are working on the front lines.
