Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Support Officer June 18, 2014 Concern Worldwide Zambia (CWZ) is an International NGO working in Zambia since 2002. Concern’s Programmes focus on the extreme poor and work to improve nutrition, increase agricultural production, empower women and promote livelihood security and resilience in Central and Western Provinces. Gender equality and HIV & AIDS are mainstreamed within all Concern’s programmes. We are currently recruiting for the following position. We would welcome applications from qualified women as they are currently under represented in Concern Worldwide Zambia. Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Support Officer (Ref: PMESO614HO1) The PM&E Support Officer will work closely with Assistant Country Director – Programmes and the District Programme Coordinators to create a functional PM&E system for all projects. The Support Officer will also work closely with front line programme staff in the field offices to regularly gather reliable project performance data, address projects’ impact, and outcome, output and process indicators. The post holder will regularly review the quality of data handle all data entry to the project database, and prepare summary information from the database as inputs for different reports. The post holder will be required to spend up to 50% of their time in the field and provide technical support to field staff in developing case studies for organisational learning. Requirements: ◾A university degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Development Studies or other relevant subject. ◾Post graduate qualification in M&E would be desirable. ◾At least three years practical experience in data quality control, field data collection, statistical/quantitative data analysis and database management ◾Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) ◾Ability to use software packages such as SPSS is an added advantage ◾Experience in working with a team ◾Good analytical skills ◾Experience in using digital data gathering devices ( DDG) ◾Experience in working with projects related to agriculture and nutrition is desirable Application procedure: Applications, in the form of a cover letter and CV, should be sent via e-mail to the following: [email protected] with the reference number clearly stated in the subject line.
