Maumee Street, Adrian, MI 49221, or apply online at adriancity by November 30, 2014 The City of Adrian is accepting applications for a Planning and Zoning Administrator to manage the implementation of the zoning code, laws, regulations and the zoning review process. This position serves under the direction of the City Administrator, and as staff liaison to the Planning Commission. Responsibilities include interpretation and application of state and local codes, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to planning; preparation of monthly meeting materials, and recommendation of actions relating to site plans, zoning changes, ordinance amendments, and master planning. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration or related field with two or more years of planning or community development experience in municipal government. A Master’s Degree in Urban Planning; and American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification is preferred. Candidate must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
