Planning our trip from Missouri to Utah was fun but doing it was awesome! Our first night we spent with my good friend Teri Smith at Kitty Hawk Ranch in Kansas City. Check out her facilities on Facebook. What a great place to overnight. Then we drove to Idaho Springs Colorado and stayed at Kiefer arena right off I-70. When we finally made it to Panguitch Utah the next day, there was heavy down pour, hail and lightning and we were advised not to drive on highway 12 to our destination because of flash flooding. Soo ... we stayed at Triple C Arena in Panguitch overnight. The next day we camped at Coyote Hollow Equestrian camp. There is no sign at the entrance so we had to ask for directions. We turned south from Tom Best rd. Our first trail was Thunder Mountain. Wow thanks to all of those who suggested it! More pics to come on Thunder mountain.
