Key Responsibilities Assistance in the development of integrity management documentation and written schemes of examination in accordance with inspection history, operation and maintenance regimes. Generation and/or review of inspection work packs. Perform examinations on various types of pressurised plant and equipment as authorised by the Cat 1 Inspector Co-ordinate and review NDT activities Assess, quantify and report the condition of inspected equipment Communicate findings and recommendations arising from inspections with the user/owner Complete all written examination reports and update WSE history Analyse inspection data and perform corrosion trends Assist in fitness for service calculations Formal Education/Qualifications Required · HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent · Plant Inspector Qualification e.g. API 510 Pressure Vessel / API 570 Piping · PCN Level 2 or equivalent: MPI / DPI / UT · Incorporated Engineer (or working towards) status preferred Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required Extensive, relevant experience in pressure system inspection preferably at Top Tier COMAH site [at least 4 years on site] Legislative knowledge relating to fixed mechanical assets e.g. Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM and AISI codes preferred Relevant experience and working knowledge of vessel, piping and pipeline Written Scheme of Examinations and suitable inspection techniques Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, strong ability to engage and influence others Business/Industry Specific Experience of integrity management techniques e.g. Risk Based Inspection preferred Experience of latest practices in non-destructive examination Ability to travel to site - approximately 15 to 25% of working time Note No agencies need respond to this post.
