Platinum Stars confirm that they have been approached by Orlando Pirates for the services of Mogakolodi Ngele. Last week Dikwena board member Cliff Ramoroa told the siya crew that there had been no offer from Bucs, and the midfielder would not be sold to Pirates. “My brother, I’m telling you now that the story about Ngele joining Orlando Pirates is completely unfounded,” Ramoroa said. Barely a few days later, another board member, Ratang Nke, says Dikwena has been approached. “Ngele is very much a Platinum Stars player, but we have been approached by Orlando Pirates for his services,” Nke tells the crew “But so far nothing has been decided … it’s just an offer.” Nke also reveals for the first time the approach by Dikwena for Pirates striker Ndumiso Mabena is not part of a possible swap deal. “We expressed an interest in signing Ndumiso Mabena and few Pirates players but that will not form part of a possible swap deal.
