Play-Free Zone This week we have had a number of stark reminders of the importance of safety around cars. Four students were hurt in accidents yesterday involving vehicles. This morning I will be asking our children to ensure our pick-up area is a Play-Free Zone, including those areas on the kerb-side where danger is heightened. Our students are such happy children, and they love frolicking with each other after school, but there is a time and place, and after school at pick up is not the time or place. The other danger is the retaining wall - no play allowed. It would only take one 4 year-old to dart onto the road, and we would have a tragedy on our hands. I ask parents to support the staff in this initiative.
