Played piano for the folks down at the free food place in amherst, not bread alone - (not an entirely noble and selfless gesture on my part - they do have great food there :-) ) - when I was finished, a woman came up to me and said, you know, while you were playing, this guy came in, and he and I never really liked each other, but I started singing along with you, and he said wow, you really have a great voice - and we started talking, and made up, made amends as it were, and now were friendly - anyway, just wanted to tell you, it was all because you were playing. a.. you know, it may sound corny to say music brings people together, but you know - sometimes its true.. glad to help.. I like to play..
