Pleas by attorneys for the Pilot Flying J rebate scandal pled their case to combine those lawsuits before a federal court panel Thursday in Portland Maine. The panel chose to not rule on the motion, and does not plan to make any decisions until at least another week. Another federal court has given preliminary approval to a proposed settlement calling for Pilot to repay clients for rebate amounts dating back to 2005, plus interest. The company has opened a website where customers, vendors, employees and media may go to check for updates on the investigation and general information.
