Please No Bashing!! Or Rude Comments! Ok, sorry because this is going to be long. Well my husband and I have been married for a year and one month.(dated for 2 years before we said I Do). He is and was born in Mexico, I was born and raised in America. Yes I am Hispanic but I do not speak spanish.. His whole family speaks nothing but Spanish very little english. I understand a lot of spanish I just cant speak it. Well ever since I had our son his mother and sister came down from another state to see our baby.. They stayed one week after my son was born to "help" me. I was a FTM and could of really used the help, well they would make snide remarks and trashed my house that week they stayed.. But in front of my husband they were oh so nice to me.. Would actually help me, I told my husband about it and he just said your just had a baby i think you are just being emotional and its understandable.. So we left it at that. Well when my son was 4 months old my husbands sister decided to stay with us for a week. The whole time she was at my house she would make remarks about me in spanish thinking I didnt understand.. It got so bad that i had a breakdown and told my husband that she needs to leave and stay at het dads house.. He told me he knows how his sister is and to please just bear her because she is spoiled 21 and doesnt have kids to just cut her some slack. So I put up with all her rude remarks and horrible habits even though she was being mean to me in my own home still let her stay at my house! My husband and I just found out we are expecting again. I am 9 weeks.. my son is 10 months. Well my husbands mother invited us to stay a week at her house... I was very hesitant but agreed because my husband begged me to go. My husband couldnt go because he had to work so it was just my son and I. So off we go to stay at my mother in laws house.. The first day i was there we arrived and I had a lot of luggage mostly my sons.. So I waited a few hours to unwind and decided to go get my luggage and i got almost all my stuff except my sons portacrib which is heavy, i asked my mother in law if she could get it she was hesitant but she did.. Lated that day i went into the kitchen and they my mother in law and sister in law were talking about me in spanish saying how i trapped my husband and he would of never married me but i hot pregnant and that i think im so high-class because i am an american.. I told them i said what are you talking about? Me? They jyst looked at me and laughed and continued on.. Well all through out the week they both kept making snide remarks and you could feel the tension. They didnt help with my son i didnt feel comfortable my son was being so cranky, just so much things happened that week it was the worst week of my life.. I dont understand why they dont like me? Well my husband came up to the house in friday and i told my husband everything that happened during the week he was mad and i dont think he really believes me.. Well his family wanted me to stay another week and my husband begged me but i had a breakdown and told my husband to take me home.. That i cant stay.. Well he brought me back home and we havent said much about it, but i do not want his family to come to my house especially his sister.. Im sorry but i dont know what i did to be treated likd this.. Can any of you ladies relate or have any advice? Rp~S
