Life Legacy Shirley Temple Fitch Greene, 74, of 6000 Greene Farm Road, Shelby, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby. Born October 4, 1938 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Fitch and Minnie Warren Fitch. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church. She loved her flowers and used to work at Patterson Greenhouses. In addition to her parent she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Lee "Jr." Fitch, Jesse Jenkins Fitch, Butler Fitch and Bobby Gene Fitch and two sisters, Edna Fitch Wall and Dorothy Fitch Brady. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Bobby Daniel Greene; daughter, Janet Faye Greene of Shelby; two stepsons, Daniel Wayne Greene of Shelby, Bobby Douglas Greene and wife, Angie of Polkville; three brothers, Jay Harold Fitch of Waco, Eugene Fitch of Shelby and David Fitch of LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, Jonathan Daniel Greene and wife, Danielle of Wilmington, Chelsea Alexis Greene of Wilmington, Casey Denise Greene of Shelby, and Emma Kate Greene of Polkville; two great-grandchildren, Bailey Grace Greene and Sophie Marie Greene. Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday at Double Springs Baptist Church, Shelby Officiating: Rev. Eddie Lee Fitch and Rev.
