Please Read Amos 4, and read this post Are We as a people failing to heed the warning??? Okay , I am going to take time out to say , What I believe needs to be said. There is a lot of things going on in Our world today. A lot of killing , dying, poverty, betrayal, loss, financial crashing, marriages destroyed, rape , drug addiction, floods, Tornados, Hurricanes, Airplane crashing, sickness, disease, Suicide , You name it , if its disastrous its happening . But these things are being allowed to get Our attention, To warn us , that unless We turn or re-turn to God , Things will only get worse. We are a nation filled the atheistic habitats and life-styles . Everyone strives to fulfill the lust of the flesh, most people are servants to money and materials, to be seen an praised by their fellow men . Not many have a healthy fear or reverence for God. People God is allowing things to push us toward him, but, We are still too rebellious. Here it is in Amos4:9- I have smiiten you with blasting and mildew :when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased , The [palmer worm devoured them. Yet You have not returned unto me saith the LORD . Here God is saying , I allowed you to see an increase , but you could not enjoy it for I also allowed the worm to feast upon your goods , For hunger and lack should have caused you to cry unto me and return to me , Yet you heeded not the warning. Amos 4:11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and ye were as firebrand plucked out of the burning: Yet you have not returned unto me saith the Lord. We need think about our world and see , or at least listen to what the Spirit is saying to the people He that hath ear let him hear
