Please Share: On Wednesday April 9th, a home in Hemet was broken into. This is in the jurisdiction of the Riverside County Sheriffs Department, but nonetheless, Hemet. A brick was thrown through the back window to gain entry near Hemet and Mayberry street. Many items were stolen, but the most valued item with absolutely no dollar value was the custom made urn of the man the homeowner was married to for many years until she lost him in 2003. The urn is described as a 6X6X9 wooden box with autumn colors (yellow, orange, brown, and green) painted with birds flying over landscape. On the bottom of the urn, there should be a label that says Miller Jones Mortuary. Within the urn should be a heavy bag containing the ashes with a round discolored coin-type medal with a series of numbers on it. Perhaps this bag was thrown from the box and left somewhere. As a community, we can be observant for this priceless item and help return it to its rightful owner. Central County United Way at 929-9691 or 951-203-2106 will be accepting calls on behalf of the owner of this stolen urn. Help us return this item to its owner
