Please alert parents, this is really scary Exactly the same thing described below happened to Salwa’s colleagues at Canal Walk a few weeks’ ago. Except that this time the dad caught the Chinese guy, beat the daylights out of him and had him arrested. It is a Nigerian human trafficking syndicate operating in Cape Town. Their modus operandi is to walk around taking pictures of potential targets walking around with or without their parents, and send them to accomplices waiting at the nearest exit. They take the first opportunity they get to snatch your child and run with him/her to a car waiting at an exit. Typical opportunities might be when you pay for your parking, load your packages into your boot or get separated from your child for a few seconds in the crowds or in a shop.
