Please allow me to offer a deductive exercise I like to go through when contemplating the metaphysical. While impossible to pin down precisely, anthropologists have identified nearly a thousand distinct faiths practiced by all the people who have walked the earth. And this number is still probably too low when you consider the various denominations that exist within individual faiths. For example, within Christianity, there are dozens of different (and yet strongly held) interpretations of how the world works. But to keep the math simple, lets say there are just 100 distinct faiths that have been practiced since we began contemplating the unknowable. The curious thing about all these faiths is that each and every one of them assumes that it and it alone is the one true faith. Now, logically, only one faith can be the one true faith and yet no matter where you are in the world, the various faiths ALL believe that they are in fact this. So if there are 100 distinct faiths (again, a way low number), then 99 of them are definitively wrong about this. And if 99 out of 100 of them are wrong, is it really that much of a leap to believe that ALL of them are?
