POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily feeding, cleaning and maintenance of all animals and exhibits. They will be responsible for taking, processing and selling quality digital photos while delivering excellent customer service. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Feed all psittacines and clean their cages Maintain proper handling, cleaning, and safety of the birds Assure safety of guest/s when taking pictures or interacting with the birds Conduct guest photo interactions with animals Responsible for the grooming of all birds; wing clipping, nail filing, bathing, etc. Assist vet when needed, including restraint Train other personnel on proper handling procedures Move birds from one location to another in safe manner Communicate, stimulate and interact with birds Listens to, understands and anticipates customer needs. Takes proactive steps to follow up on requests and insure customer satisfaction. Enhances the guest experience by delivering excellent customer service Responsible for site preparedness, stocking, cleaning and organization Responsible for adhering to the dress code and appearance guidelines Responsible for handling all equipment safely with care Responsible for following all company policies and procedures, including cash handling Responsible for image quality.
