Please be advised that someone appeared in a parade under the name Gunny Claus in a similar Gunny Claus uniform in South Carolina. This person is not part of our program. We do have an Official Gunny Claus in charge of South Carolina Gunny Brent Claus all actual Gunny Claus events are posted on our website. All activities of the Gunny Claus Program with the 1st Reindeer Division, Inc. run under strict guidelines with very few off base activities approved other than the USO, VA Medical Centers and board approved military family events (thats why we dont do parades etc). The Official program also has insurance, strict regulations, background checks, dress codes, physical checks and many other requirements to protect our Kids. ALL appearances are approved by the Command of each unit we see. When making contributions to Gunny Claus or the 1st Reindeer Division (a 501(c)3 non-profit) make certain you do so thru our official site gunnyclaus.org or the addresses posted on our website. Our regulations and compliance drive our success in helping Active Duty Kids and their families.
