Please be patient and grateful our neighbours down the road are safe. Everyone is working as fast as humanly possible to get things back to "normal." It will take time. Please be patient. From Parks canada: The Trans-Canada highway will be closed in both directions to private vehicles between Banff and Canmore until further notice for the safety of the public, emergency responders and highway workers. Parks Canada and it partners need this time to complete the necessary work to repair this important transportation corridor. The highway will remain open for emergency, resupply and service vehicles, and the Roam and airport shuttle buses. Information on this closure will be updated at 12 noon Monday June 24, 2013 and be available on Parks Canada website, facebook page and twitter account. Parks Canada is making every effort to re-open the highway.
