I’ve voted against annual tax increases eleven consecutive times. This past term I’ve opposed wasteful spending by voting against the 13% council pay hike and the $.5 million B-Logo rebranding. In the coming term, I will continue to ask the tough questions. I will continue to fight tax hikes and will ensure that the services you actually use remain free from user fees and reductions. After all, we don’t want bigger government and higher taxes – but neither do we want to gut services. I will continue to demonstrate strong, sensible leadership at city hall. After all, we don’t want a return of the sideshow antics and negative headlines we saw on a prior council. I will work hard to attract jobs and investment to Brantford, so our kids and grandkids can enjoy the same lifestyle and prosperity we have been blessed with. On Monday, please give me your vote to ReElect me as your city councillor. Please keep me working for you.
